“Growing up with an autocratic father in the plumbing and remodeling business I learned the importance of doing it right the first time. As a home inspector I am aware of the many ways to spot amateur workmanship. I point that out to my clients as well as the reason why, and how to make it right.”
A Home Inspection is a visual snap shot of the condition of a property at the time of the inspection. All construction features of a home are viewed in a systematic fashion:
Roof Shingles Ventilation Attic Insulation Exterior walls Doors Windows Stoops Foundation
|
Entrance & Exits Garage Interior spaces Bathrooms Kitchen Rooms Plumbing System HVAC System Electrical System
|
These items are brought to your attention via photographs, verbal discussion and a written report.
A typical home inspection requires up to four hours. The first 2 hours are for the inspector only. Clients and their agents are asked to join the inspection for the last two hours for discussion, question and answer period and conclusion to the inspection. The written report will follow via e-mail. This report will have the synopsis of the discussion as well as the photos taken.

You are expected to bring your questions and concerns to the inspection. Bring a pad of paper for your specific inquiries. We will supply you a written record with the photo’s we’ve taken. But you may want your own record of measurements for drapes or furniture. Dads & Moms are welcome too. We want you to know the facts about the house. Then you can make good decisions.
